Scissors given by a craftsman to a loved one for everyday use

We have added new scissors for everyday use, made by a scissors craftsman.

Ishihiro Seisakusho has been making medical scissors for two generations since 1970.
They are still made by hand, one by one, by second-generation scissors craftsman Akio Ishida.

The scissors we will be carrying this time are part of a series of household items made for general household use that was started by Ishida's desire to "hear what customers have to say" and "find out their reactions."

Dressmaking scissors

●Cutting scissors
The scissors used for the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Tokyo Skytree in 2012.
Weighing in at about 157g, these scissors are quite heavy, so their sharpness and weight allow for smooth, supple cutting, making them very easy to use. Certified by Sumida Modern in 2011.

Thread cutting scissors Eyebrow cutting scissors

●Thread cutting scissors Eyebrow cutting scissors (reverse)
Recommended as both thread cutting scissors and eyebrow trimming scissors.
The length from the handle to the blade is a little long, so your hand doesn't get in the way, making it very easy to use and cut. Also, the tip of the blade is curved, so you can cut even in small places. Certified by Sumida Modern as a thread cutting scissors in 2011.

Small children's scissors 14 round (no blade)

Small children's scissors, 14 round (no blade)
These scissors have no blades and are made for small children.
Usually, scissors have sharp blades that cannot be touched, but the 14 round (no blade) has a rounded blade, so it is safe for small children to use. It can be used to cut a single piece of paper, such as for origami. When your child grows up and is able to use scissors properly, we will include a blade for free (shipping fee not included).
