We have received new rice bowls, soup bowls, and soba bowls from Rokurosha, a company with a workshop in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, which is famous for producing Echizen lacquerware.

The rice bowls and soup bowls, which feature a high base that gives them an imposing presence, and the soba bowls, which have a solid presence, are available in two types: "raw lacquer finish" and "black lacquer finish." As the lacquer is applied by rubbing it directly into the surface, both types allow you to feel the beauty of the wood, do not impair the breathing of the wood, and the antibacterial properties of the lacquer prevent food from spoiling, allowing you to enjoy delicious food without worry.

Yoshio Sakai, a round woodworker, carefully crafts each piece, inheriting the traditional techniques of a round woodworker.
