First, please watch the video. It's simple and functional, and I think it conveys the appeal of the product.

Oil drains easily

The edge of the Koshimasu container is not rolled all the way in, but is instead kept semicircular, which makes it less likely to drip even though it does not have a spout. The shape of the container allows oil to drain easily no matter which direction you pour from, so you can pour with one hand without getting your hands or the kitchen dirty.

Use up all the oil

The Komasu comes in small and large sizes, and the small size is recommended if you are using a small amount of oil for deep frying or baking. Both sizes are compact, making them a very convenient size for using up the filtered oil in your daily cooking.
[Oil can be poured easily by simply pressing the knobs on the lid and strainer.]

The oil level can be checked

The strainer mesh of the "Komasu" is made of stainless steel with a special process that prevents it from reflecting black light, making it easy to check the amount of remaining oil.
It has a scale, so it can also be used as a measuring cup on days when you are not using it as an oil pot.

Compact design

The recommended capacity with the strainer is 700ml and 300ml. The small diameter and deep, compact design makes it easy to store and doesn't take up much space.

Easy to wash

All parts are made of 18-8 stainless steel, which is rust-resistant and durable. It has no edges and can be disassembled, making it easy to wash and maintain. This is a high-quality oil pot made in Tsubame-Sanjo.
The brand "conte" was launched by Ichibishi Metals, a metal processing manufacturer that specializes in stainless steel materials and was founded in 1977 in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, a major production area for stainless steel processing, together with designer Rina Ono and buyer Akiko Hino. Conte's items are all comfortable kitchen utensils that are indispensable for daily cooking. They have won numerous awards, including the Good Design Award.
