kaico oil pot I want to make high-quality enamel utensils.
I want tools that fit into Japanese life.
And I want to make it in Japan with Japanese craftsmen.
The enamel brand "kaico" is infused with this sentiment.
Kaico's "Kettle" combines enamel, which is iron covered in a glassy glaze, with other materials that are suited to the situation.
The design of the kaico series was created by furniture designer Makoto Koizumi.
Working in collaboration with the production site, we have created functional enamel products that are easy to use as tools.

easy to use

Kaico kettles, which can be used on both direct heat and induction, are beautifully designed and easy to use. The large opening that brings the kettle and lid together makes it easy to pour water and wash the inside. The spout is easy to drain, a feat only possible with the skilled craftsmanship of the craftsmen.

In addition, the kettle can be folded when storing, so it does not take up much space.

Great functionality

Enamel is a material with high heat retention, so not only does it keep boiled water warm, but it also keeps tea warm after it is taken off the heat. The surface of enamel is inorganic glass, so it is resistant to both acids and alkalis and does not undergo chemical reactions due to moisture, so it does not transfer metal odors or retain odors.

Hygienic and long lasting

Enamelware is resistant to dirt and scratches, and is coated with a hard glass coating, so it can withstand discoloration and wear. Just like tableware, it can be easily maintained with detergent and a sponge, and if you are concerned about staining, you can use baking soda to extend the life of your enamelware.

- Enamel is a glass material. If it is hit hard or dropped on the floor, it may peel off, so please handle with care.
- Due to the structure of the product, there may be some black areas on the edges of the enamel, but these are not defective products as they are enamel coated.
