The enamel brand "kaico" is infused with this sentiment.
Kaico's "maru SS" combines enamel, which is iron covered in a glassy glaze, with other materials in a variety of places.
The design of the kaico series was created by furniture designer Makoto Koizumi. Working in collaboration with the production site, we have created functional enamel products that are easy to use as tools.

Unique to enamel

Enamel is resistant to odors, stains, and discoloration, making it the perfect material for storage containers. The lid, which is easy to open and close and has a silicone gasket that is integrated with the container, is highly airtight and is convenient for storing moist ingredients.

It has excellent heat retention and a simple, warm design, so you can remove the lid and serve it directly on the table. Unlike plastic containers, it is easy to clean and does not easily get scratched even with repeated use, so it is useful not only as a storage container but also as a container for serving dishes such as prepared dishes and pickles.

Many uses

Kaico's Maru comes in four different height sizes and all have a common diameter of 12.2cm, so they can be stacked and don't take up much space when stored.
The SS size is 4.2cm tall and has a capacity of 230ml. It is shallow and just the right size for storing leftover food such as butter, shredded carrots, and other dishes. It can also be used as a container for small fish dishes such as Nanbanzuke, or for small rice accompaniments.
They can be used according to the ingredient and purpose, and they look nice when stored or served on the dining table, so you'll want to have several.

Hygienic and long lasting

Enamelware has a surface that is resistant to dirt and scratches, and is coated with hard glass, so it can withstand discoloration and wear. Just like tableware, it can be easily cleaned with detergent and a sponge, and since it is round and has no sharp edges, it can be washed thoroughly and can be used cleanly at any time. If you are concerned about discoloration, you can use baking soda to extend the life of your ware.

It also comes from the word "nostalgia" (reminiscence) because of the nostalgic impression it gives. These are high-quality enamelware that fit into Japanese life. Non-heated products Direct flame × IH × Dishwasher ○ Dish dryer ○
- Do not use scouring powder, nylon scrubbers, metal scrubbers, etc., as they may scratch the surface.
- Due to the structure of the product, rust may occur on the edges of the enamel.
・If rust occurs, wash it with a sponge, wipe off the water, and dry it thoroughly. The rust will subside if you apply salad oil to the rusted area.
・Do not soak the product in water as this may cause rust.
