Masayoshi Nakagawa | Cork Free Bowl

Easy-to-use free bowl

"Cork Free Bowl M Gold" by Masayoshi Nakagawa, who has a workshop in Shigaraki.
Masayoshi Nakagawa's Cork Series is synonymous with this. Its unique, cork-like appearance is unlike anything you've ever seen before, and the earthy texture of the pieces evokes the warmth of nature. While unique, they complement the food perfectly, adding a touch of elegance to your everyday dining table.

The Cork Free Bowl has a cute, rounded shape. It comes in two types: a simple "white interior" type with a white interior, and a "gold glaze" type with a gold-like interior.
The "inner white" type has a natural feel that is easy to use on the dinner table every day. The "gold glaze" type creates a gorgeous and classical Japanese dining table. It is versatile and can be used for a variety of purposes, such as serving stews, salads, fruit, and soup. It is also deep enough, measuring approximately 7cm in height, to be used as a small rice bowl.

The "inner white" type has subtle crazing (fine cracks on the surface of the glaze) on the inside, and as you use it, the color of the food will soak in and transform into a tasteful piece. The "gold glaze" type will change color when you serve food due to the oil, but it will gradually blend in and settle. Enjoy the changes that develop with daily use.
