A tissue case where the wood edge is hidden

The wood is cut at a 45 degree angle and then glued together so that the ends of the grain are not visible. This is a really beautiful tissue case.

Made with care.

The opening through which the tissue comes out is also made as narrow as possible so that you cannot see inside. This attention to detail is wonderful. Everything is made from solid wood.

Magnetic fastening.

It is held in place with a magnet, so you can easily take the tissues in and out. The "click, click" sound when you stop it is very satisfying.

Oak
At first, it is a light brown color, but the more you use it, the more it will turn amber. It brightens up the atmosphere of the room. It is a hard wood. [Origin: Europe, Russia, Japan, etc.]
Black Walnut
It is characterized by a deep purple-brown color. The more you use it, the lighter the color of the wood will become. It will give the room a calm tone. It is softer than oak. [Origin: North America, Canada, etc. (not domestically produced)]

Vegetable oil paint
Vegetable oils do not prevent wood from absorbing moisture, and they change color to amber over time with the wood while maintaining the texture, giving it a rich flavor. On the other hand, they are vulnerable to heat and moisture, but we think it is good to use them while thinking of stains and dirt as part of their flavor. Wax maintenance once or twice a year will help prevent dirt and water. solnte is a husband-and-wife duo, Yoshiyuki and Fumi Shimada, who have been designing and producing wooden furniture and accessories in Kanagawa, Nagano since 2009. While they are fond of Scandinavian antique furniture, the two of them are also impressed by traditional Japanese styles and craftsmanship. They take great care in creating products that incorporate both Scandinavian and Japanese tastes.
