This is a chopstick rest made by sunny-craft, a pottery manufacturer in Shigaraki. These adorable chopstick rests are shaped like flowers and apples, and feature warm colors of kiseto glaze and candy glaze, as well as a hand-drawn polka dot pattern. Kiseto glaze has a rough matte finish, while ame glaze has a glossy finish.

You can choose from four patterns: flower and apple shape, kise and glaze, and candy glaze. They're all so cute, I'd like to use them depending on my mood.

Before Use

Ceramics are absorbent, so dirt will inevitably stick to them. Sunny-craft recommends boiling the pot in rice water before use (and then letting it cool naturally). This will help prevent dirt and stains. After use, wash it immediately and dry it thoroughly before storing it. If you lightly rinse it in water before using it, it will be less likely to soak in.
