We received a bento box from Usagigoya, a workshop located in Chizu Town, Tottori Prefecture, known for its cedar trees .
The cedar is made from Chizu cedar, which has been carefully cultivated by mountaineers, and is left unpainted and unvarnished. The natural temperature and humidity regulating properties of Chizu cedar allow it to retain just the right amount of moisture, so the cedar remains plump and delicious even when cooled.
● Around the Moon (small round)
This small lunch box, measuring 115mm in diameter and 55mm in height, is recommended for women and small children. You can also pack side dishes in the lunch box and take them with you along with rice balls.
●Kage (large round)
For deep lunch boxes, we recommend the Nokkeben. They can be used by a wide range of people, including men, women, and children.
● Sixteenth Night (oval type)
The oval-shaped lunch box is just the right size for serving food. It has dividers, making it easy to arrange food and is recommended for those who don't want to mix rice and side dishes.
