Katsufumi Baba's pottery features original glazes. The glaze mixture varies depending on the type of clay and the piece, and after numerous trials and extensive research to ensure no cracking and consistent color despite temperature changes, unique and beautiful pottery has been created.

Katsufumi Baba Pottery Studio After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Fukuoka University, he moved to France. Upon returning to Japan, he completed a training course in small-item pottery wheel at Shigaraki Ceramic Research Institute, then trained at Shigaraki Maruju Kiln and Shigaraki Sodo Kiln. In 2003, he became independent in his hometown of Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. He continues to create pottery with passion, guided by the motto "Long and Simple." His reputation has spread, captivating many people, and his work is highly popular.
