After graduating from Fukuoka University's Faculty of Law, he moved to France. Upon returning to Japan, he completed the small pottery wheel course at the Shigaraki Ceramic Research Institute, then trained at Shigaraki Maruju Kiln and Shigaraki Kusa Tsuchi Kiln. In 2003, he established his own studio in his hometown of Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. With the motto "Long-lasting and simple," he continues to create pottery with passion. His reputation has spread, attracting and charming many people, making his work highly popular.
