After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Fukuoka University, he moved to France. Upon returning to Japan, he completed a training course in small wheel throwing at Shigaraki Ceramic Research Institute, and then trained at Shigaraki Maruju Kiln and Shigaraki Sodo Kiln. In 2003, he became independent in his hometown of Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture. With the motto "Long-lasting and simple," he continues his passionate pottery work. His reputation has spread, captivating many people, and he is very popular.
